Back from another amazing holiday that was made perfect by Brooke at Deja Vu Travel. 5 days in Port Douglas, cruising the reef, Cape Tribulation, the Daintree, Mossman Gorge all made easy by the team at Deja Vu Travel. Sometimes I think I am a travel agent and book accommodation – the only part of the holiday I didn’t love was the bit that Brooke didn’t advise me on – the accommodation! Cannot recommend these girls enough – you are the best, thanks again for your help.

We have planned and booked several holidays over the last couple of years with Deja Vu Travel in Maroubra. We have 4 children aged 11,13,15 and 16 and 2 adults in our family and organising holidays for a group this size is no easy feat. Brooke and Michelle have been nothing short of outstanding. They listen to what we want and what facilities we would like to be close - as with children it is important to have lots of bedrooms and be within walking distance to restaurants and public transport. With this in mind they do the research, present us with options and then make all the final arrangements. Our most recent trip was in Sept - Oct 2018 and we were away for 5 weeks travelling through Italy and France with our 4 children. We travelled on trains, hired a car, had transfers waiting for us at every airport, visited amazing places recommended by Deja Vu and to be completely honest not a single thing went wrong. All accommodation was ready and waiting for us, seating organised on every flight, day trips booked (eg., 4WD in Dubai and Skip the Line tour of the Vatican) Our itinerary was explained to us in great detail before we went- we were shown all vouchers and documentation. It was so lovely to be able to go on a holiday knowing that we were so well prepared and knew exactly where and when we had to be. On our flight home my husband and I were talking about how very lucky we have been to have found Deja Vu travel and to have met Brooke and Michelle as they take a genuine interest not only in planning our holiday, but in our family and you can really see that they want you to have an amazing, safe and memorable holiday. We recently used Brooke and the team at Deja Vu Travel to help book a trip to Phuket, Thailand. As it was our first time there, we took Brooke's advice on a range of things like hotel (Kee Resort) and places to see (island boat tour, tiger kingdom) and things to do (go karting, ATV tours, Thai boxing fight) and were extremely pleased with her recommendations and for helping us book flights and accommodation. We'd definitely use Deja Vu Travel again and would recommend using them for any holiday/flights needs.

My recent “STAIR CLIMBING “ trips to Seattle, Scotland in October 2018 with a itinerary superbly put-together by Brooke at Deja Vu Travel. The first leg of my journey was to Seattle for stair- climb 832 steps to the top of the Space Needle called “Base to Space”, raising funds for the Fred Hutch Cancer Research. The second part of my journey took me to Edinburgh, Scotland for a “Extreme Stomp” of 7500 steps at the BT Murrayfield Stadium. Brilliantly organised by SAMH (Scottish Association of Mental Health). Final part to London for RandR with relatives. As time was limited between events, on two continents, time/day differentials - I called on the expertise of Brooke at Deja Vu Travel. Criteria was to arrive 3 days prior to the events for sightseeing and jet lag, accommodation to be within walking distance to the events, self contained, must have a good gym, connections and all transfers to be accommodated. Brooke made the whole itinerary seem effortless. Options, costs, 3 different styles of accommodation provided. Like any trip, sometimes the unforeseeable happens and after a long flight from Seattle via New York to Scotland, the transfer was a “no-show” to the accommodation but a quick email to Brooke - promptly solved and a new company found! WHY DO I USE DEJA VU TRAVEL? - I can live and enjoy the moments and make unforgettable memories with the peace of mind that if there is a “hiccup” I can call on Brooke to solve it effortlessly and efficiently with confidence. It was a late decision to book (for peak time especially), but she took her time and due diligence to find both flights and outstanding accommodation that suited my partner and I to a tee! Hi my love, I loved the Stones Hotel!! Thank you for the recommendation of having me on a higher floor and putting that in the email as they originally going to give me a room with a single bed which had no balcony and when I showed them what you wrote they changed it and gave me an awesome room with a bath on the balcony (which I had every night). The surroundings within the Hotel were magnificent and after lazy man’s yoga (massage) I would read on the deck chair. I loved La Karma Spa, it was fantastic! I had five deep tissue massages there. Thank you again for organising everything including vouchers and recommendations as it was just what I needed to recuperate.

We rarely use travel agencies for our trips, but with an excellent reference from family and friends and our trip to Hawaii being such a last minute decision, we chose to leave the planning in the hands of a professional. Brooke and the team from Deja Vu were not only professional but met and exceeded every expectation we had. Good Friday, 14th April - what a  beautiful day it was to sail out of Sydney on the Carnival Spirit for the Easter Weekend. The weekend was so enjoyable. The staff are so friendly and courteous and always willing to help. The food is great and the entertainment is wonderful. We would thoroughly recommend it. I have just returned home from a 19 day holiday in USA that the girls at Deja Vu Travel organized for me. The holiday was for my 40th birthday (and I took my husband and two children as well 15 and 8 years old). When I spoke to Brooke on the phone I had no idea what I wanted to do apart from the fact that I wanted to be warm.  The girls suggested a couple of destinations that didn’t really excite me, then they suggested going on a Caribbean cruise.  I am not a cruise fan but OMG I have just had the best holiday ever. A week in Orlando shopping and entertaining our inner child at Universal studios and Disney World and shopping did I already mention the shopping (take extra bags and pack light). We then jumped on the biggest cruise ship that you could ever imagine.  Ice skating rinks, flow rider wave machine, putt putt golf, swimming pools, merry go round, Dreamworks characters on parade, shows similar to Cirque de Soleil, Cats diving and ice-skating shows.  The cruise was amazing and I am a convert for life.  I loved waking up and being at a new destination, oh hello Haiti, good morning Jamaica and Aloha Mexico and the days of cruising in between were so relaxing and restful. But I wouldn’t have enjoyed the holiday as much if Brooke and Michelle had not looked after me so well.  Brooke spent hours searching for the right accommodation for me and my family and sourcing tickets at the right price for the theme parks and car rental.  Michelle spent hours with me booking and organizing the cruise activities and dinners whilst we were on the boat.  Little touches like all the coupons printed out with “accommodation Orlando”, “accommodation Miami before cruise” and “car voucher” were perfect for my pedantic brain. The phone call before I got on the plane to say “Have a great holiday” and a special email to say welcome home were the icing on the cake. I would recommend Deja Vu Travel to anyone who needs a travel agent, these girls travel and know what they are talking about and it takes me a good 50 minutes to drive to them.  A drive that I am happy to make because I know that it will definitely be worth it. I first met Michelle about 6 years ago when she was a travel consultant with Flight Centre. I utilised her services at that time and was impressed by her friendliness and her willingness to ensure that everything she could do for us was done. I followed her as she ventured into her own enterprise and I have continued to utilise her services in the last 3 or 4 years and will continue to consult her on my future travel plans. What particularly impressed me was the detail that she provided, such as, providing the names of various tour guides at some locations, who provided us with a wealth of relevant information and ensured we were provided with a professional escort. A honeymoon to the USA; over 5000 photos in 3 weeks, a lot of laughs and wonderful memories! Michelle at Deja Vu Travel was fantastic in booking our recent trip to Perisher. After searching for ski in/ski out accommodation she was able to book a very guest house for Dad and I, and at half price! We had a fantastic time.

Everyone told us organise your own holiday, you'll save so much money you don't need a travel agent. All I can say is thank god we didn't listen to them. If it weren't for you we would still be stuck in Mexico freaking out about how we're going to get back home. Being stuck in a hurricane is the last thing you would expect while holidaying. Let's just say even though you were on the other side of the world you experienced this hurricane with us. Or should I say the whole holiday. Michelle you were an absolute lifesaver and Angel. My husband Joe and myself had always planned the big world trip when retired of course, we wanted it done properly so we decided to go see Michelle at Déjà vu Travel, together we discussed our wants. Michelle directed us towards 2 separate Trafalgar tours, one from London across Europe to Italy and then around the British Isles, her suggestions made those trips and all the sights we saw just marvellous. We then travelled on to New York City, staying in the hotel she had booked for us and using bus tours that she had suggested also. Then we travelled onwards to San Francisco once again all went so smoothly, our hotel superb. Sightseeing was wonderful as per Michelle's suggestions once again. I recently approached Michelle to help plan my trip to China in 2013. As a whole it was a whirlwind adventure, and I couldn't have asked for a better trip. I saw everything from the bright lights of Shanghai, to the UNESCO world heritage site at Ping Yao and to the alternative art district in Beijing, 798 district. I found that my experience was easy and expertly planned. I didn't have to worry about the details and could immerse myself in the cultural experience and the joy of travel. Although, being China, there were a few minor hiccups along the way but Michelle solved them swiftly as well as always being a comforting voice at the end of the phone. Our Thailand trip in May 2014 was booked with Deja Vu Travel and I have never felt more secure and excited booking my holidays. The villa we left up to Michelle to choose in Koh Tao for our diving adventure and we were ecstatic to say the least, it was a stone haven with loads of room and full of serenity. Once we were abroad we were advised that we could call or email at any time in the case of something going wrong. I thought this was massive peace of mind and an advantage to any traveller.
